The Andre building, although not one of the older buildings on the west side, has had a hundred and thirty year history that has made it one of the landmarks of the community, rich in nostalgic associations.  It also has the honor of hosting the Bay View Opera House.

"Mark Twain Revisited" with Parker Drew“

Since 1977 Mr. Drew’s critically acclaimed one-man show has toured to over 500 theaters in 37 states. This is a rare opportunity to experience the unique humor and timeless wisdom of America’s greatest author and lecturer, brought to life by veteran television, radio, and theatrical performer Parker Drew. 

 

April 21st, 2010 was the 100th anniversary of Twain's death. To mark the occasion, Parker performed two sold-out performances at the Weidner Center's Fort Howard Hall on April 24th. The shows received 4 out 4 stars from Warren Gerds in the GB Press-Gazette.
